Backcountry Horsemen of California is a non-profit organization dedicated to conserving backcountry wilderness, protecting stock users' historic use of the wilderness and educating the public about gentle, "Leave No Trace" wilderness use. We are a 501(c)3 organization, which means donations to BCHC Mid Valley are tax-deductible. The Mid Valley Unit is based in Modesto. See our Links page for our neighbors and the state web site. |

Saturday, February 20, 2010: Equipment Maintenence and DOG
10 am, Erlandson's Ranch. We'll clean, oil and inventory the Unit's
equipment. The Dutch Oven Group will cook up a lunch fit for a king.
Tuesday, March 9, 2010: Mid Valley Unit Board Meeting
6:30 p.m., Perko's in Modesto, 901 N. Carpenter Road, at the Kansas
and Carpenter intersection.
Friday - Sunday, March 19 - 21, 2010: Rendezvous

Saturday, March 20, 2010: Merced Parade into Rendezvous
We'll ride from downtown Merced to the Merced Fairgrounds.

Saturday, April 3, 2010: Backcountry Horseman - Mid Valley CTC
ACTHA ride at Woodward Reservoir. This ride is a Competitive Trail Challenge.
The ride will last about 2 hours, with 6 to 8 obstacles. You can buy
breakfast and lunch. You can camp overnight, too. Pay your fee for that to
Woodward Reservoir directly. This is a fund raiser for our unit.
